Setup for CCS Spring Trial 2026 was wrapped up in record time on Friday thanks to the hard-working crew who came out to help: Trial Chair Betsie Bolger, Master Course Builder Scott Dillard, Benny Beck, Christie Deen, Jody Faulkner, David Lozano, Carlos Mota, Crystal Ragan, and Sissy Wallace.

CCS Equipment Manager Crystal Ragan and Deborah Bridge pulled all of the show jumps out of the DOGS shed earlier in the week, and Jody Faulkner paced off courses on Thursday morning after class while her classmates helped set them.

Friday morning tasks included measuring the courses, topping off tunnels bags, and setting up fencing along with the trial secretary’s pop-up and tables plus the DIY photo op. Many hands did indeed make light work: Everything was ready in less than 2 hours!🐾👣

Betsie Bolger

Betsie Bolger and Coco took their first agility lessons at Center for Canine Sports in 2016, “just for fun”. When head trainer Lisa Jarvis invited the fledgling duo to enter a trial at CCS, Betsie discovered just how much fun competing in agility can be! She currently runs 4 dogs — all small rescues — and is starting to train a 5th. In 2024, Betsie was inducted into USDAA’s Hall of Fame as Volunteer of the Year. When not running agility, she is a writer and editor and also co-owns an eBay store with her husband, Jon.
